Can you believe that it is the middle of January? It was just a few weeks ago that we were making our resolutions/goals. Have you been able to stick with those Resolutions? I am now up to 10 Push-ups – only 40 more to go! But, I haven’t been able to schedule one on one time with a grandchild yet. The month isn’t over, so I am still hopeful. It is always a “Challenge” to change routines or to keep our goals, because life happens and our situations change.
I have now added two more Challenges/Goals to my life and one of them is that I am participating in a 30 Day Healthy Lifestyle Challenge. I am seriously thinking about leading one when I complete this, so if you are interested, please let me know.
The other Challenge is to complete some of my to-do-list and/or my UFOs. I have kitchen cabinets that I have not finished painting, quilt tops that need quilting, quilt tops that need to be finished, yard work that I want to accomplish…. So, in the spirit of The New Year, I am going to put a Challenge out there:
QLC’s 2018 Lottery UFO Challenge
If you decide to take on this Challenge, here are the rules:
- Come to QLC by January 31st, sign up to participate and purchase a $10 item that will go into the Lottery Pot. All Participants receive a 15% discount on this purchase.
- Bring in a list of items that you want to complete (quilting, scrapbooking, knitting, gardening, soap making…) with details of current state listed on the form that can be printed from this link. You are welcome to use more than one form.
- As you complete your items bring it in to show or take a photo and send to me, so that you will be entered into that month’s lottery drawing. At the end of the year, everyone that completed at least one item from their list each month will be entered for the Grand Prize drawing. The number of people that decide to participate will determine how large the Grand Prize is and how many winners there will be.
I hope you decide to take on this Challenge and share in this Year of accomplishing goals.
Be Happy, Be Creative and Have Sew Much Fun!
See you soon,
Betsy
